Door Supervisor Refresher

The Door Supervisor top up course runs over a period of 2 days with pre-learning involved. This course is not a substitute for the full Door Supervisor Course.

What Will I learn

Included in this course are topics such as:

• Principles of terror threat awarness in the private security industry 

• Principles of using equipment as a door supervisor in the private security industry 

• Application of Physical intervention skills in the private security industry 

• Vulnerability awareness

• Advanced Physical Intervention skills

The material is up to date and in line with current SIA standards.

All assessments must be passed in order to top up your Door Supervisor License.

Requirements

Those looking to top up their Door supervisor license must meet the following requirements:

• You must be age 18+

• You must complete the pre-learning provided before the course starts

• Completion of the ACT Awareness certificate

• Completion of the ACT Security certificate

• You must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Level 3 emergency first aid certificate with at least 12 months of validity.

Those who do not have a valid first aid certificate may choose to take our emergency first aid course before the course starts. 

Ministry Training offer First Aid courses at a price of £75 per person, these courses may be booked with other training courses in order to expedite the training process.

Important

A Door Supervisor license must be renewed once every 3 years, following this, the licence holder has a further year to renew the licence before it is invalid.

Should a licence become invalid, the holder must retake the initial Door Supervisor course and apply for a new one.
