First Aid Courses

For those who do not require an SIA license but only want to acquire their Emergency First Aid at Work certificate, Ministry Training offer a 3 day course.

Why Take This Course

This certification is valuable for anybody who is or is soon to be a supervisor, manager or health and safety officer. Those who work as first aiders in a high risk workplace might also require this, examples include construction sites or warehouses.

Ministry Training Emergency First Aid courses are fully accessible, no prior knowledge of first aid is required.

What Is Included

Included in this course is:

• CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)

• Managing unconscious casualties

• Treating common injuries

• The recovery position

• Recognising serious medical emergencies

• Recognising shock and how to treat it

• What to do if somebody is choking

• Using an AED (automated external defibrillator)

• What is included in a first aid kit and how to use it

All Assessments will need to be passed in order to complete the course and recieve the certificate.
